The bi-lingual layout of German and English makes the international impact of the magazine even greater.The European Design Magazine was founded as "Internationale Revue" in 1957 by Jupp Ernst, Willem Sandberg, Curt Schweicher and Wilhem Wagenfeld. 1972-1998 as "Zeitschrift für Gestaltung" continued by Karlheinz Krug.
