What is your magazine about?
Magazine culture + art, fashion and graphic design.

Who's behind the project? Tell us about the founders, their backgrounds and their motivations!
I am the founder (it's an independent magazine). I studied philosophy and have always been interested by medias. I think he "new" medias as Internet change the way of making magazines, and that's why we are here !

How do you produce one issue? How much time do you spend on it? How big is your team?
I choose a new AD and let's go ! the 10 contributors are the same from one issue to the next one. I work one month on each issue, so I can rest the other month.

What have been the important steps in the life of your magazine?
When luxury brands bought a page. When free newspaper came in France (5 years ago) meaning "free" wasn't cheap.

Which are the key ingredients for the success of your magazine?
Low cost, high quality. (I can't tell you the others).

What are the difficulties you are confronted with? What would be the thing to help the magazine to improve?
I just need time (or money, as you want).

Where do you want the magazine to be in five years?
I am not sure I want to know.

Tell us about your audience! Who are the readers of your magazine?
People going in cool places as concept stores, fashion shows, art schools.

Is remaining independent important to you? Is it part of the strategy?
It's important but do we have the choice ?

What's your relationship with advertisement? Does it influence your content? Do you care about advertising-driven-editorials?
I love advertisers ! I love brands ! they often think like children do but we never make gifts !

What do you think of your issue 01, when you look back at it?
It was not bad, we kept so much from it !

L'Illustration, Paris-Normandie, Le Point du Jour.

Do you keep old copies of magazines? If so, what is your favorite in your collection?
I do. I don't choose because I don't want the others to get jealous.

How many magazines do you buy / get / read each month? Do you qualify yourself a maniac?
Do you qualify yourself a doctor ?
