Who’s behind the project? Tell us about the founders, their backgrounds and their motivations!
Eyemazing Susan. Eyemazing Susan. Photography Freak.

How do you produce one issue? How much time do you spend on it? How big is your team?
By working 24 hours a day, everyday. Team?: Eyemazing Susan and few freelance contributing writers.

What have been the important steps in the life of your magazine?
Winner of the Lucie Awards, Best Photography magazine of the year 2008.

Which are the key ingredients for the success of your magazine?
Do not wish to share.

What are the difficulties you are confronted with? What would be “the” thing to help the magazine to improve?
I can't split myself to be at every art fair and at every festival or at every symposium at the same time no matter how much I would like to. What will help?: Free shipment!

Where do you want the magazine to be in five years?
Exactly where I am today.

Tell us about your audience! Who are the readers of your magazine?
Anyone visiting Colophon? Everyone in need of getting inspired by imagery.

Is remaining independent important to you? Is it part of the strategy?
Only way.

What’s your relationship with advertisement? Does it influence your content? Do you care about advertising-driven-editorials?
No. No. No.

What do you think of your issue 01, when you look back at it?
Exactly the same thing I told you in my last interview with colophon: I still love it.

Magazine favorite(s) that inspired you in your career.
"Interview" by Andy Warhol "Egoiste" magazine.

Do you keep old copies of magazines? If so, what is your favorite in your collection?
Yes I do. John Willie's Bizarre, Vols 1-26.

How many magazines do you buy / get / read each month? Do you qualify yourself a maniac?
Yes I am a maniac. Magazine maniac.

We are compiling answers from some of the most innovative magazine makers around the world today. Who else should we ask?
Wao...impressive, Maybe you should ask the one and only: David Carson.
